This would be a fine copy except the owner's name appears on the decorated endsheets at the front of the book. The front endsheet contains a special inscription: "With best wishes to our good friend Tom Van Sickle", the name has been crossed out and replaced with Burton Nelson by the author (s). A note at the bottom of the front endsheet states that: this copy had been saved for a senator by the authors, but was never picked up, therefore the author sold this copy to Burton Nelson on May 23, 1967. This was the only copy left in the inventory. The telling of stories of contemporaneous accounts with as little of second hand interpretation as possible.
